2012 Pucks & Paws Calendar
To benefit Canine Companions for Independence® presented by Petland
The Blue Jackets Foundation has partnered with Petland and Canine Companions for Independence® to bring you the 2012 Pucks & Paws Calendar. This one-of-a-kind calendar features Jackets players alongside assistance dogs and puppies in training from Canine Companions for Independence®, the nation’s largest non-profit provider of trained assistance dogs to children and adults with physical disabilities.
The calendar will be available in December with proceeds benefiting Canine Companions for Independence® and the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation. Players pictured with the dogs and puppies from Canine Companions include Rick Nash, Jared Boll, Grant Clitsome, Derek MacKenzie and Marc Methot while photos of Matt Calvert, Mark Dekanich, Steve Mason, R.J. Umberger, Antoine Vermette and James Wisniewski also feature the players’ personal pets alongside the Canine Companion dogs.
