Blue Jackets Panther Park

The Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation led Blue Jackets players, front office staff and a host of community partners to build and dedicate “Blue Jackets Panther Park” which serves the students at the hockey club’s Columbus City School partner, Arlington Park Elementary.

“Blue Jackets Panther Park” features dual playgrounds with each area outfitted with age-appropriate slides, climbing structures and other interactive elements. In addition, the area intended for kindergarten and special needs students is built upon a rubberized surface designed for wheelchair accessibility.

The playground is not only used by the school for recess and gym classes, but it also serves as resource for the special needs preschool classes as well as a wonderful addition to the surrounding community and be used throughout the year by the neighborhood.
