Jackets for Jackets

November 26 - December 18

Each season, fans are invited to join the Columbus Blue Jackets #61 Rick Nash and the Dispatch Media Group to help keep Columbus families warm by donating to the “Jackets For Jackets” coat drive.  To donate, drop your new or gently used jackets off at any of the following locations between November 26 and December 18, 2010:

- Blue Jackets Home Games
- The Blue Line merchandise store
- Chiller Ice Rinks
- Dispatch Ice Haus

Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Blue Jackets fans, Dispatch Media Group, the Chiller Ice Rinks, the Dispatch Ice Haus, Nationwide Arena, and the FOX Sports Ohio Blue Line locations over 875 coats were collected for the Salvation Army's Coats for Columbus program this season!

Want to be a collection site for the Jackets for Jackets drive?
The Blue Jackets are able to team up with local organizations that would like to be a part of the Jackets for Jackets drive.
Participating organizations can receive:
- 11x17" Jackets for Jackets collection posters
- 8.5x11" Jackets for Jackets collection flyers
- Donor incentive voucher(s) (specific incentive(s) determined at the beginning of the hockey season)
- Opportunity to participate in delivery of jackets to the Salvation Army

Participating organizations need to:
- Provide own collection bin/bags
- Drop off jackets either to the Blue Jackets or Salvation Army on designated date
